Returns
Q: What is your Return Policy?
A: In short:
- Items can be returned for a refund within thirty (30) days of purchase.
- Shipping and handling is non-refundable on non-defective or non-damaged merchandise.
- Refunds are calculated off the purchase price.
- Restocking fees may apply to returned merchandise.
- All sales are final for clearance items.
- All sales are final for costumes, lingerie, swimwear, accessories, and international orders.
- All promotions applied to an order, including any free shipping promotions, will be subject to adjustment.
Q: What is your Exchange Policy?
A: In short:
- Place a new order for the new item of your choice. Return the original item in its original packaging with your new order number referenced on the invoice.
- The buyer is responsible for return shipping on non-defective or non-damaged merchandise.
- We cannot hold items.
- Exchanges can be done within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.
- No exchanges will be accepted for clearance items, costumes, lingerie, swimwear, accessories, and international orders.
- All promotions applied to an order, including any free shipping promotions, will be subject to adjustment.
Q: When will I get my refund?
A: We issue refunds within fifteen (15) business days of our warehouse receiving and processing the package.

Merchandise
Q: How do I find what I am looking for?
A:
To search for available styles, customers are encouraged to use the
Advance Store Search Tool. Customers can enter the style name they want
to find in the "SKU" box. Style names are listed in the detailed item
description or item title.
Q: Do you have this item in another size, style, or color?
A:
MakeMeChic carries extensive selections of footwear and sells hundreds
of pairs of shoes each week. Consequently, our inventory changes
rapidly. All of our in-stock products are listed on the website: if the
item is not listed on our website, we do not have it in stock.
Q: Do you have more size or measurement information?
A: In short:
- All available size and measurement information is displayed in the item listing.
- All measurements are ±1".
- All manufacturer-provided information is listed.
- MakeMeChic also provides our own measurements, e.g. heel height or boot shaft height.
- When not otherwise specified, products are regular or medium width.
- We cannot take additional measurements.
Q: What condition are the shoes you sell?
A:
MakeMeChic sells brand-new, top-quality merchandise, purchased directly
from manufacturers. All shoes are unworn and shipped in shoe boxes,
however, items under $10 may not be shipped with shoe boxes.
Q: If I don't find my size, what should I do?
A:
You can check back tomorrow, since MakeMeChic typically updates
inventory every day. If the item you want is out of stock, we will
generally reorder it within three (3) weeks.

Q: How do I complete my purchase?
A: Pay for your order by using MakeMeChic's checkout process.

Q: Why does your checkout say my email address is not correct?
A:
For security purposes MakeMeChic requires the buyer to enter a valid
email address during checkout. If the email address provided is not
valid, you will not be able to complete your order.
International
Q: Who pays for duties and customs fees?
A:
Because MakeMeChic cannot predict what duties might be added by a given
government's customs department, all duties and customs fees are the
responsibility of the buyer. We at MakeMeChic understand that this can
be a burden on our buyers, and so encourage our buyers to properly mark
items which are being bought as gifts: simply specify in the "Special
Instructions" box during checkout that a package is being bought as a
gift.

Q: Have you received my payment?
A: We will send you a confirmation email when your payment is received.
Q: How long can I wait to pay for my item?
A: Orders must be paid right away.
Q: What forms of payment does MakeMeChic accept?
A: We accept the following forms of payment in U.S. dollars only:

Q: Can I send you a PayPal payment without using your checkout?
A:
No, doing so will delay your order. Buyers are encouraged to use
MakeMeChic's checkout process to expedite the processing of their
orders.

Q: Can I still submit my payment although I am late in paying the item?
A: Yes, but please email us at orders@makemechic.com
with your order number and the email address used to place the order.
If we still have the item in stock, we can reopen the checkout for you
and send you the checkout link to pay for the order. If more than ten
(10) days have passed, some items may no longer be available.

Shipping
Q: Has my order been shipped?
A:
The normal turnaround time for processing orders is two (2) to four (4)
business days after payment is received and cleared, excluding weekends
and holidays. Once the payment is cleared, orders are sent to our
warehouse the next business day. Once items are ready to ship, we will
send you an email notification with your tracking information.
If an item has not been shipped within ten (10) business days, customers are encouraged to contact us immediately at orders@makemechic.com with their order number, so that we can quickly resolve any outstanding issues with the order.

A: Our shipping rates are calculated by the actual weight of your order, which is estimated in your shopping cart. Free shipping is offered within the 48 contiguous states (enter promotion code during checkout) for orders over $50.

Q: Do you offer fast shipping?
A:
Yes! Most orders are shipped within two (2) to three (3) business days
upon receiving payment, which means that U.S. customers usually receive
their orders within three (3) to seven (7) business days of payment. If
you need your order sooner, we do offer FedEx 2nd Day, FedEx Standard
Overnight, and FedEx International Priority services.

Q: What countries do you ship to?
A: We ship worldwide; if your country is not listed in our checkout list, please contact us at orders@makemechic.com and we can double-check to see if we are able to ship to you.
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A:
Orders sent to locations within the 48 contiguous states will generally
take anywhere from five (5) to ten (10) business days to arrive. Orders
sent to other U.S. locations will generally take two (2) to three (3)
additional business days to arrive. International orders will generally
take five (5) additional business days to arrive.
Q: Can I combine multiple items to save on shipping?
A:
Yes! Purchase multiple items together to save on shipping. To get rate
quotes, please add all items into your shopping cart and use our
Shipping Calculator. Please note: we are not able to edit orders or
combine items for orders that have already completed checkout.

Q: What if my package is lost or damaged?
A:
Although MakeMeChic cannot and does not accept responsibility for
packages lost or damaged during transit, we can file a claim on your
behalf with the shipping company. Buyers are encouraged to file their
own insurance claims with the shipping company, in the event a package
gets lost or stolen.

Q: My order is returned back to MakeMeChic due to a delivery failure, what should I do?
A:
Packages are returned to us if they are undeliverable. When a carrier
returns an undeliverable package to us, you must contact us immediately
and provide an updated reshipment address. Re-shipping fees do apply.
If we do not receive any contact within a week of the package being
returned, we will issue a refund less the shipping costs.
Q: I live near MakeMeChic; can I pick up my item to avoid a shipping charge?
A: Because MakeMeChic is not a retail store, we cannot allow customers to pickup their items directly from our warehouse.
